The inaugural Swing Against Cancer charity event is set to take place on November the 23rd at the Glendora Country club located at 2400 Country Club Dr, Glendora, CA 9174. This exciting fundraising initiative aims to raise awareness and support for cancer research and patient care, making a significant impact in the fight against this devastating disease. Participants and supporters will enjoy a day filled with various activities, including a charity golf tournament, exciting hole in one prizes, speakers from USC Keck, breakfast, open bar, and lunch. The event will gather community members, local businesses, and cancer survivors to unite for a common cause, fostering hope and inspiration. The proceeds generated from the Swing Against Cancer LA event will be directed towards USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center which focuses on innovative treatments and support services for patients and their families. With the ongoing challenges posed by cancer, every contribution counts, and the organizers are dedicated to ensuring that funds raised will directly benefit those affected.
The tournament starts at 9AM (shotgun start) breakfast will be available at 8AM, and the driving range will be open at 8AM.

The USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center (USC Norris), located in Los Angeles, is a major regional and national resource for cancer research, treatment, prevention, education, and community engagement.
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) has designated the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center as one of the nation’s 51 comprehensive cancer centers, a select group of institutions providing leadership in cancer treatment, research, prevention, and education. USC Norris has held this designation since 1973, at which time it was named as one of the first eight such centers in the country. Every day, USC Norris scientists and physicians join our patients and our community in the fight against cancer.
Our members include over 200 basic, translational, clinical, and population scientists from the faculty of the Keck School of Medicine, the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, the Viterbi School of Engineering, the Price School of Public Policy, the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology, and the Annenberg School for Communication.
